In-Home Pet Sitting Services*

We will tailor a pet sitting program to your pet’s individual needs so that they can continue with their normal lifestyle and routine in every way possible. We will provide food, water, walks, play time with a favorite toy and plenty of cuddling. We’ll follow your detailed instructions to make sure your pet feels safe and secure. Cleanliness is important to your pet’s health, so we clean food and water bowls at each visit, scoop litter boxes and clean cages.

Midday Walks and Bathroom Breaks

With Loving Hands, you no longer need to feel guilty when you’re at work all day! We will visit your best friend for a friendly romp in the yard, exhilarating walk and a bathroom break. Whether you have an older dog who has trouble waiting until you get home, a puppy who isn’t yet house trained or a pet who simply gets bored if left alone all day, Loving Hands offers the ideal solution for pet owners in Alachua, Bradford, Clay and Putnam counties.

Pet Taxi Service

Let us taxi your pets to and from their scheduled grooming sessions or veterinarian appointments! Don’t waste the precious moments you have with your pets running around town.

Baths and Nail Trims

We’re one of the only pet sitting services in Florida to offer pet bathing and nail trims as part of our pet sitting and dog walking services! Would you like your dog to have a bath at the end of our pet sitting contract? Please ask us for a quote based on your pet’s breed and size – you’ll come home to a clean, sweet-smelling, tail-wagging pet!

House Sitting Services

We include basic house sitting tasks with all of your pet sitting contracts, including watering plants, turning on sprinkler systems, bringing in mail, rotating the blinds, drapes and lights and taking out the trash. For a small additional fee, we can also do more extensive chores, such as watering and tending larger groups of plants. We include a thorough home security check with every house sitting visit, including making sure all is secure and all doors and windows are locked at the end of each visit.

Farm Animal Care

Loving Hands is proud to offer care and feeding of farm animals, including horses, cows, goats and chickens. Karilon, the owner of Loving Hands, learned the ins and outs of farm animal care while working at a local horse ranch. We will clean stalls, feed animals and give them any exercise needed to keep them healthy and happy.

Small Animal Care

Small animals have lots of personality in miniature packages, and at Loving Hands we have more than enough to love to go around! We will care for your exotic birds, rodents, reptiles, ferrets, rabbits, fish and other small pets with the same attentiveness and affection we give larger pets.

Getting Started with Loving Hands

Loving Hands prides itself on quality, professional pet care for "all creatures great and small." We will schedule two consultations with you and your pet or pets prior to our first pet sitting or dog walking assignment in order to learn about your pet’s personality and any special needs that we should address. These two consultation visits are mandatory, prior to starting all new pet sitting assignments. Our goal is to offer you the most caring, attentive pet care available. We will strive to provide your pets with loving care, boundless affection and professional care that focuses on health and well-being as well as the social interaction and sense of security pets crave. During these consultations, we will review our credentials with you and explain our services in detail. Loving Hands will give you forms to fill out that detail all aspects of the pet sitting or dog walking services you need, including any medical conditions we should be aware of, medicines to be administered and your pet’s favorite toys and games. We'll also take the time to meet and get to know your pets so that they are comfortable with us before the first pet sitting visit.

*Although Loving Hands doesn’t currently offer overnight stays, we can provide in-home pet sitting visits as early as 6:00 am and as late as 8:00 pm, seven days a week, to ensure your pet is always comfortable and happy while you are away.

Loving Hands Service Rates

We are proud to offer reasonable customized rates for Keystone Heights and surrounding communities, which include parts of Alachua, Bradford, Clay and Putnam counties in Florida.

PET SITTING:

Dogs and Cats		$16 to $22 based on location
		These rates include up to two dogs or six cats. Additional dogs are $2 more each; additional cats are $1 more each.

Small Critters		Call for custom quote
		These include birds, rabbits, ferrets, chickens, fish, guinea pigs, gerbils, hamsters and other small, caged pets.

Exotic Animals		Call for custom quote
		Reptiles, rodents, snakes and spiders.

Horses		Call for custom quote
		Pet sitting for horses will be based on frequency of feeding, condition of stalls, stall cleaning requirements and time needed for turn-out. Group rates for horses are available.

DAILY AND WEEKLY DOG WALKING:

$16 to $22 based on location

Rates are per 30-45 minute dog walking session. Please call for the rates for your location. Weekly customers will be eligible to receive a discount for regularly scheduled visits as follows:

5% off of three visits per week
10% off of four visits per week
15% off of five visits per week

PET TAXI SERVICE:

One way	Price of visit + $15 pick-up fee
Round trip	Price of visit + $25 fee
Attendant fee	$15/30 minutes or $20/hour

We will stay with your pet throughout his or her veterinarian’s appointment or grooming session.

SPECIAL SERVICES – Provided as an add-on to Pet Sitting Services

Bath	$10-$20, depending on size
The owner will supply shampoo, towels and brush as needed

Deluxe Bath	$20-$40, depending on size
Loving Hands will provide a soap-free shampoo, clean ears, trim nails, brush and special doggy treat. Please keep in mind that this is a courtesy service, and that we are not professional groomers.

Nail Trim	$5

Loving Hands Pet Sitting offers vacation specials and if you book in advance, you will receive a discount off your total.

Please note that Loving Hands holidays include: New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and Christmas Eve Day. There will be an additional charge of $8 added to any services during these holidays.
